Pastor Garth and Sister Kim welcome you to SOUMC! You are our special guests.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
Bible Study at SOUMC takes place every Wednesday night at 7:00PM-8:30PM, in the Fireside Room, and is an important component in any Christian’s life. Weekly group study not only helps you learn and understand scripture, but also find meaning in your life and manage hard times. Group support is vital for spiritual and emotional survival in difficult seasons. It also helps you experience the joy of sharing your experiences with an accepting, loving group. For more information on our latest Bible Study theme, please check out our Facebook page.
TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY
“Whether you like it or not, read and pray daily. It is for your life; there is no other way.” John Wesley (August 17, 1760).
Our current study: The Complete Counsel of Christ
The Word of God is alive and gives life. Join us in this 3-5 year Bible study that will glorify the Lord and transform the life of the student. We will read and discuss the entire Bible canonically, from Genesis to Revelation, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and book by book, with a total historical and spiritual focus on Jesus Christ: The promise of the Messiah, appearances by the Angel of God, prophecies, the birth of the Messiah, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection, the Great Commission and the prophetic Revelation of Christ.

MOVIE NIGHT (ON HIATUS)
Come join us every Tuesday night at 7:00PM, in the Fireside Room, for Movie Night! Bring yourself and a friend, and enjoy the company of kindred spirits. After the movie, we hold a discussion. Movie Night provides a good way to communicate and share good times with your fellow Christians in a meaningful, fun way. Before the movie, we catch up on everything that’s been happening this week. Then, we watch the film, and discuss it for about 45 minutes. During that time, we may discuss parallels to our lives. It gives each person an opportunity to voice an opinion, share something, vent a little, and have an event to look forward to every week.
